FAQ
Everything you need to know about YOTA JEWELRY, from materials and care to shipping, returns and repairs.
What materials do you use?
YOTA JEWELRY pieces are handmade using high-quality Japanese Miyuki glass beads, known for their beautiful colours, consistency and delicate finish.
Each bead is carefully selected and woven by hand to create each individual piece. Because every item is handmade, small variations may occur, making each piece uniquely yours.
Pieces also include stainless steel hooks, findings and other jewellery components selected for their durability and everyday wear.
How should I care for my jewellery?
Miyuki beads are made of glass and should be treated with care. To keep your piece looking beautiful for as long as possible:
Avoid crushing, bending or pulling the jewellery. Store your piece carefully when not wearing it. Avoid contact with perfumes, creams, oils and other cosmetics.
I also recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming or exercising and keeping it away from harsh chemicals and cleaning products.
Where do you ship?
YOTA JEWELRY currently ships within Portugal and selected European destinations.
Orders are carefully prepared and packaged before being sent.
Orders will be sent using tracked CTT or another appropriate postal or courier service depending on the destination and order.
How much is shipping?
Portugal €5.00 · Rest of Europe €9.50 · Free shipping on orders over €85.

Can I return my jewellery?
For purchases made online, consumers generally have a legal right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the jewellery, without having to give a reason, except where a legal exception applies.
If you wish to exercise this right, please contact YOTA JEWELRY within the applicable 14-day period before sending the jewellery back.
The jewellery should be returned in its original condition and with reasonable care taken to avoid damage.
The cost of returning an item when exercising the right of withdrawal is normally the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
How are refunds handled?
Where a refund is legally due, it will be processed in accordance with applicable Portuguese and European Union consumer protection rules.
Nothing on this website is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
What about personalised or custom-made pieces?
The legal right of withdrawal does not apply to jewellery that has been made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised, where the applicable legal exception applies.
For custom or personalised pieces, please make sure that you are happy with your chosen design, colours, measurements and other details before the piece is made.
What happens if my jewellery breaks?
Every YOTA JEWELRY piece is handmade and carefully checked before being sent.
If your jewellery develops a genuine manufacturing fault or lack of conformity, such as a loose bead, faulty fastening or another problem resulting from the way the piece was made, please contact me.
Can I ask questions before ordering?
Absolutely. If you have any questions about a piece, its size, colours, materials, care, shipping or anything else, please feel free to contact me before placing your order.
I want you to feel completely comfortable and confident with your choice.
Thank you for choosing handmade.
